PSGMEA Delegation Visits the Sports Industrial Development Centre
A PSGMEA delegation visited the Sports Industrial Development Centre on 12 October 2026. Participants included Chairman Majid Raza Bhutta, Senior Vice Chairman Khalid Mehmood Sh., Arshad Latif Butt, Abdul Waheed, Khawar Anwar Khawaja and Secretary General Mohsin Masood.
The visit focused on product innovation, broader export opportunities and skilled employment in Sialkot’s sports goods industry. SIDC Project Director Hanif Sarwar briefed the delegation on the centre’s work with composite hockey sticks, cricket equipment, rackets, golf equipment, protective gear and other advanced sports accessories.
The Chairman highlighted the centre’s contribution to value-added manufacturing and the development of alternatives to conventional materials.
