The beginnings of an industry
The association’s published history traces Pakistan’s sports goods industry back to 1870, rooted in Sialkot’s tradition of local craftsmanship.
A new chapter in football production
The profile records the repair of a football supplied by a British Army member in Sialkot, followed by local production.
Early export recognition
PSGMEA’s history records an export award to Sayed Sahib for supplying footballs to the British Army in Singapore.

Pakistan Sports Goods Manufacturers & Exporters Association was formed to represent sports goods and sportswear exporters, with its head office in Sialkot.
